Parks & Recreation Vision Statement

Troutman’s Parks & Recreation department reflects what our community values – parks, trails, wellness, restoration, natural space, miles of greenways, family programming, and various festivals that promote community pride and spirit. The Town’s greenways offer easily navigable and integrated connections between neighborhoods, community destinations, and town parks. The recreational facilities are welcoming and have been thoughtfully designed to be accessible and offer unique experiences for all ages, abilities, and interests. While our community continues to grow, Troutman Parks and Recreation is strategic in its efforts to respond to the needs and desires of citizens to enhance the quality of life in our town while keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained for Troutman’s current and future residents.

TROUTMAN ESC PARK
Thanks to a donation by Engineered Sintered Components of 30 acres of land and the support of local businesses, community organizations, and residents, Troutman ESC Park opened to the public with a playground dedication in May 2013. Today, Troutman Youth Athletic Association soccer, flag football, baseball, softball, and t-ball teams practice and play games on the park’s fields. Local travel teams practice and host camps and clinics here, as well. The 1/4 mile paved walking trail is a popular spot for runners and walkers alike.
