Form of Government

The Town of Troutman operates within the council-manager form of government. The Mayor and Council serve as the legislative body of Town government and are responsible for setting policy. The Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Town and is responsible for implementing the Council’s policies and for the management of all Town operations, departments, personnel, and services.
